Initial requirements (for the first milestone of the project) will be written and added to the wiki.
Currently, I have a draft version of the requirements in my locale and will upload them to the wiki in the next 2 days.

Deadline: 29.11.2024

I wrote the glossary:

Glossary

  • Map: The most fundamental feature of the project which shows the geographical properties of ordinary people and written sources on a visual map.
  • Social Graph: The second fundamental feature of the project which shows the relations between entities like ordinary people, unordinary people, written sources, religion, profession etc.
  • Ordinary People: The main topic of the project. People who are mentioned in the written sources, has no individual importance in the history, there isn't much information known about them.
  • Unordinary People: People who are mentioned in the written sources and has relations with ordinary people. They have individual importance in the history and there are a lot of information known about them already in different historical sources. The project doesn't mainly focus on them and their existence in this project is just because of their relations with ordinary people.
  • Written Sources: Written sources that are used in this project as primary sources of historical knowledge and data.
  • Secondary Sources: Other researches and papers written in the modern times that are used in this project as second data sources.
  • Publications: Publications like articles etc about this project and written by project's history team.
  • Admin: Administrator user who can edit site content like publications, people etc as well as the historical data from a special web panel.
  • Researcher: User type for the history researchers of the project who can edit historical data from a special web panel.
