Is this the 8 GB SSD model? As Nvidia support has told me that the MAXN mode is not yet available for any non SD card models. Can you please verify

Yes, currently there is no SD card version. NVIDIA is the pioneer in this regard. We will only release such a version after the official support from NVIDIA is available.

I am having problems with my unit. I have been able to get it up and have flashed multiple SD cards as well as working direct with Nvidia SDK and attempting to flash a nvme m2 SSD. The firmware that was shipped on the unit is firmware 3.0-32616947. I have been unabale to update to 5.12, 5.13, 6.1 and 6.2 firmwares. Why was this unit shipped with such dated firmware that it has been near impossible to flash to an updated version.

I was finally able to get the unit flashed. It required a secondary computer running specifically Ubuntu 22.04. I tried flashing on Ubuntu 24.04 and it failed multiple times. Based on the firmware that comes with the factory load you will need a Ubuntu loaded PC running 22.04 and SDK manager for 22.04. The SD card flash method for version 5.1.2 or 5.1.3 is not viable and you cannot go from the 3.2 shipped firmware straight to the 6.2 via SD image. You will need to run it through SDK manager. Of note I first flashed it on a 64gb SD card and am now testing flash to a 1TB nvme ssd.

Update as of a few minutes ago. The full flash onto the SSD was successful and using the SD as a future backup if needed. Hope this information helps out others.
