Given my intro above, I think it would be wise to have alternatives to 7zip as the "middleman" program used for decompression of programs.

Given the above, an option in scoop's config file defining path to the decompression program and main decompression switches required
Describe alternatives you've considered
Seeking scripts that only use .exe or .msi files.
