how to verify that cloud miner works

Thanks for this BTW. I was wondering how to verify that cloud miner actually runs. I see there used to be a way to view exceptions on the python packages, but I can't see that any longer in the azure automation account. do you have any sample python or powershell scripts to possibly write to a file or call a web service? I was thinking one way would be to get powershell or python to call a service remotely that would record the data sent to it, or possibly upload a file or execute a file in an azure storage container? I couldn't get those to work so far. Any suggestions?
