Hi Team,

Describe the Bug

The UpdateAutoAssignConfig.yml GitHub action in SSW.People.Profiles is not creating the Pull Request correctly when triggered.
This then requires a manual workaround of re-running the workflow and raising a pull request to get reviewed.

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to https://github.com/SSWConsulting/SSW.People.Profiles
  2. Remove the update-assign-by-files-config branch if it exists
  3. Run the Update-Auto-Assign-Config GitHub Action
  4. See error

Expected Behavior

The GitHub Action should raise a pull request so that it can be approved and merged.

  • Fix

More Information
