CSS grid is weird with unpopular viewports

The video explains it better, but what happens is that the last speaker (Sharon Steed) is wrapped onto a new line and her face is expanded to full width.

Sorry for the massive GIF, GitHub doesn't allow any video format and who knows how long those no-signup video hosting platforms survive.
