I've started work on a USB driver. At the moment my only interest is in getting the keyboard and mouse working. Only the XHCI controller will be targeted.
USB HID (Human Interface Devices) will be required for running BareMetal on newer hardware. Unfortunately the PS/2 port isn't found on new systems and those system aren't doing PS/2 emulation either.
