latest newlib (4.4.0) ported to baremetal

i've ported the latest newlib to baremetal

it's based on ian's BareMetal-newlib

this gives you a standard c library (libc.a) and include files to port or build c apps

Amazing work! I'll reply to the emails you sent me earlier.

I've followed your instructions and it built an app but it doesn't run on BareMetal-OS yet. I think it isn't using the proper linker script so I'll look into that.

That specific version requirement for autoconf and automake is a bit of a pain but oh well.

Instructions on my Debian-based Ubuntu system:

# Remove software if already installed
sudo apt remove autoconf automake

# Download the required versions 
wget https://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/autoconf/autoconf-2.69.tar.gz
wget https://ftp.gnu.org/gnu/automake/automake-1.15.1.tar.gz

# Extract them
tar -xvzf autoconf-2.69.tar.gz
tar -xvzf automake-1.15.1.tar.gz

# Build and install them
cd autoconf-2.69
./configure
make
sudo make install
cd ..
cd automake-1.15.1
./configure
make
sudo make install
cd ..

# Adjust the path variable
PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/bin
