Get involved

There are multiple ways to contribute to the Pyrrha project, such as:

  • Code
    • Project board: You can find all of the current issues being tracked, as well as what needs to be started.
    • Good first issue: Be sure to check out the issues labeled good first issue on the project board. This is a great start for someone who is new to this open source project.
  • Community building
    • Raise awareness of Pyrrha on social media platforms (LinkedIn, Twitter, etc.) or by sharing it with friends who may be interested in contributing.
  • Design work
    • Help out with improving the design of the website, proposing a new logo, or create content such as a video that highlights usage of the project.

How to's:

  • Pull Requests:

    • Describe at a high level the solution you're providing.
    • Is this a patch, a minor version change, or a major version change.
    • Is this related to an open issue? Please provide the link.
    • Additional context and any other technical detail or considerations here.
  • Reporting Issues/Bugs:

    • Description: A clear and concise description of what the bug is.

    • Steps to reproduce the behavior:

      1. Go to '...'
      2. Click on '....'
      3. Scroll down to '....'
      4. See error
    • Expected behavior: A clear and concise description of what you expected to happen.

    • Screenshots: If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem.

    • Desktop (please complete the following information):

      1. OS: [e.g. iOS]
      2. Browser [e.g. chrome, safari]
      3. Version [e.g. 22]
    • Smartphone (please complete the following information):

      1. Device: [e.g. iPhone6]
      2. OS: [e.g. iOS8.1]

      4. Version [e.g. 22]
    • Additional context. Add any other context about the problem here.

  • New ideas:

    • Feel free to collaborate/discuss ideas on Slack on how the project could be improved.
    • If the new idea you have has already been created/coded, create a pull request which can be reviewed for approval.
