Could four versions of the 0-46 standard CTM method be implemented that each ignore, for example, the rightmost edge and two rightmost corners (one for each of the four 2D directions)? I have a use case for these with my custom glass pane models - if implemented, I can use a much simpler block model system as well as less redundant texture files.
