[Question] Customize particular icon for an app

I am using papirus icon theme on Fedora 41 (Gnome 47). I use both Nemo and Nautilus file browser.

But both of these have the same icon, can you please suggest how can one manually override icon for Nemo file browser while using this icon theme?

hello, you can go to a folder /usr/share/applications/ and locate both nautilus and nemo desktop files. open them with a text editor and manually edit the line `Icon=`

I have following values in these files:

grep -i 'Icon='  n* 

output:

nautilus-autorun-software.desktop:Icon=application-x-executable
nemo-autorun-software.desktop:Icon=application-x-executable
nemo.desktop:Icon=system-file-manager
