default chart type

Currently when navigating around the metrics app, the chart type follows you around in the route. So if you have selected stacked chart in Downloads but then click to Geo Country, it shows you the geo stacked chart instead of the geo chart, the first/default chart type. When reviewing the new drop day chart, @farski said he would expect that it always lands on the default (first) chart type instead.

I started making a change to support this, but it broke being able to load the application on a url with a non default chart type.
