Install fails on EndeavourOS

So I am trying to install OVOS on top of EndeavourOS on my mini-PC. I have tried two different DEs (Deepin and KDE Plasma) since I had a hunch it was something wrong with Deepin (seems I was wrong). It gets to "Detect DISPLAY server number" and throws a very large and very ugly fatal error.

I cannot make heads or tails of the fatal error it spits out, as it just repeats "can't read X" and "no such process\nsed" over and over again. Something with the way it is trying to read the DISPLAY server number, I think? But I'm confused as to why that of all things would cause a fatal error like this and what I could do to fix it.

Any help would be appreciated!

That did not seem to work, but at least the error is more helpful now. And unfortunately, the URL isn't populating for the log, so I'll just have to copy and paste the new error(s).

Can't do much about this error Handle fann package from AUR (Arch based only)]. The issue seems related to the fann AUR package which is pretty old now, nobody (package maintainers) seems to check if it builds with newer version of cmake.

For the Docker error is because of Docker rate limits, nothing I can do about it as well :/

The only way to "avoid" the rate limit is to run docker login in order to extend the limits.

Good news! It installed properly using docker this time.

Bad news! Mycroft appears to be mute, and the GUI I'd thought I told it to install did not.

I tried dual booting Mint and installing it on that OS too and while everything seemingly installed properly there, GUI and all, Mycroft was still mute. It would hear the wake word, hear what I was saying, make the "ding" sound, and process the request but say nothing in response. It can play audio streams, just not do any of the TTS,

I'm reinstalling OVOS on EndeavourOS and seeing what I can do to get em to talk to me.

Check the logs ~/.local/state/mycroft/*.log, sometime it is just a microphone level too low.

About the GUI, it is not maintained anymore so I'm not sure about the state of it. @JarbasAl I think GUI should be deprecated.

It took me a while to figure out where to find the logs since it is the docker install, but I found them there, at least I think I did. However, what I found is a mess that also seems a bit more complicated than just a volume issue:
