I'm wondering if this is a necessary feature. It means that we must implement a reporting/moderation toolbox for comments. OS accounts are tied to Scratch accounts which allow for commenting already. Thoughts?

Disclaimer: I haven't worked on the project (especially design) for like a year.

Being able to work together on things, via comments on uploaded resources, would be great! That way people can review new sprites and music, talk about how a script could be more efficient, etc.

I think we need a system for replies, too - to allow for discussion - basically like the forums.

It seems as if we are trying to create our own community, which seems a bit unnecessary since 100% of our user base shall already be part of one.

Doesn't really matter whether or not people are part of a community. Say a bunch of people come from.. afterschool?.. to work on a project together - should they be able to discuss the project, or is that unnecessary? :)

I agree, stifling discussion isn't what we want.

If we are creating spaces for discussion, we must ensure that staff have an effective toolbox for dealing with inappropriate comments.

What about the ability to edit and delete comments?

Scratch doesn't allow the editing and deleting of comments because inappropriate content can be removed before being reviewed. I think that applies here also.

@The-Cheese-Eater it allows deletion for the owner(s) of the resource!
