Scope of services

Everything is open source

OpenProducer works on open source projects, educational programs, trainings (online and in-person), etc. that are made available under a free distribution license (e.g., GPL, Creative
Commons, BSD, etc.)

No direct to customer/client consulting

While OpenProducer accepts funding for open source work, we do not deliver bespoke solutions directly to clients and customers. We do work with partners to support and expand their client/customer facing offerings. Open Learning Labs members also have opportunities to work directly on client facing projects for or with partners.

Supporting other OSS projects (not our own)

OpenProducer does not develop, maintain and sustain our own products. We do partner with maintainers and stakeholder projects and programs that align with our target verticals.
