The chart at the top of the Aardvark page has more information than may be necessary (i.e. the (R) (C) (S) and (v) designators).
Suggested solution
Once we complete #24 (determine which fields are needed to meet our community standard for metadata records), consider using just a single designation code to indicate these fields. Also consider removing the other designators - are they necessary at the bird's-eye view, or is it sufficient for them be present in the detailed descriptions below?.
