Technically the outer binary of HW Virginis (the proposed brown dwarf companion) should be marked as controversial for the same reason that the planet candidate is. At present there is no way to mark such objects as controversial, the ability would also be useful for candidate stellar companions that have not been verified (e.g. through proper motion).
