Over the past weeks I've been thinking whether or not to promote @alexkazik to a collaborator of
simple-fatfs. Alex essentially materialized out of thin air regarding this project after I made a Reddit post about it (it might be are may not be from that, I don't know) and ever since has been a gift that keep on giving, most importantly with the new short filename generation algorithm and the transition to a proper IO API. Judging by his website, Alex has a ton more programming experience than me, which I have seen in the past couple of months.I've taken the choice to give @alexkazik contributor access so that he can create all the branches he wants in this repository instead of using a fork. I don't expect him to handle open PRs or issues, although he is free to do so if he wants to.
crates.ioreleases will still be managed by me, alongside overall moderation of this repository, and I will be the one to have a final say on an issue, PR, discussion or anything else.I'd once again like to thank @alexkazik for all his contributions to
simple-fatfs, since without himsimple-fatfswouldn't have even half the things he has until now, by summer, since this year is a rough one for me, academically speakingBeta Was this translation helpful? Give feedback.
