Fix table design #6
Comments
There are two 3d models floating around: http://opensourceecology.org/wiki/File:IronworkerI.skp, and http://opensourceecology.org/wiki/File:IronworkerBOM.skp which has the design and bill of materials. I don't know if they have the same model or not. If one is obviously more up to date, use that one, otherwise use the one without the BOM. Download it, make the changes, and upload the result here or to a new file name on the wiki (you can log in with a google account using the openid login link in the top right). You can see pictures of the table at:

I forgot to mention: As much as possible, you should copy and paste pieces from the "warehouse" of standard parts. We have a model with all of them- http://opensourceecology.org/wiki/Warehouse |
I added it to the assembly guides- http://opensourceecology.dozuki.com/Guide/How+to+assemble+the+shear+table+of+the+Ironworker+%28in+progress%29/87/2 and http://opensourceecology.dozuki.com/Guide/How+to+Ironworker+Machine+-+Overall+Machine+%28in+progress%29/84/1 and this will update the generated BOM. So the remaining task is to add it to the 3d model. |
The table needs some modifications for the new blade positions. I'll post details and pictures when I can. |
Actually, I have to show Marcin something weird that's going on with the table angle. Hold off until then. |
Taking myself off this ticket. |
