When generating new videos during video detection inference, why are the new video frames black and empty? What could be the reason for this?

Hi @VincentRoole, hard to say what might be the cause of this without more information about your config and setup. I have reworked the video inference feature in YoloDotNet v3.0 with several improvements and new options for realtime video and frame processing. Please have a look at the most recent YoloDotNet version and the VideoStream Demo project for more information and examples.

i have installed ffmpeg-git-ful version: 2025-09-01-git-3ea6c2fe25, and configure the environment。when running the VideoStream Demo project,there is an exception.
