One final novel... a second chance

After completing a couple simple novels early in the month. I thought I would look back at an unfinished project.

In honor of the world cup, I dusted off an attempt from 2019 that I never finished. A play by play recreation of a game of war (card game) tournament. The idea is to simulate a season of the game of war and then write the transcript of a play by play of the tournament.

When I started the first time I only got as far as the simulation, but this time I have added play by play, color commentary and some intro and outro text.

There is plenty of room for improvement, but it is complete!

I like the idea of sports cast as it lends itself to a narrative while remaining very structured.

well, at least I'm consistent!

I really liked the sportscaster framing and Garcia's color commentary throughout was very funny - treating it as a serious game of strategy and not just random card flipping.
