It would be great to natively use PySAM's battery model. It should include all of the same features as our model, plus more. A few things to verify that it can do:
Run single timesteps
Capacity degradation (while running single timesteps)
Thermal modeling with exogenous ambient temp
Resetting to previous state
Prediction of next SOC, efficiency, and remaining energy (could run and reset to do prediction)
(optional) SOC setpoint instead of power setpoint
(optional) Generator or Fuel Cell models??
Once we implement, it'd be great to remove equipment.parameters too.
