I spent a couple of hours today on gathering and organizing appendix materials. The "announcements" subdirectory now has an example of an open call for each of the 9 events. There are also 4 examples of applications (the 3 recent ones look very similar).

There is a descriptive document (appendix_materials/scoping_statements_and_rfps.md) that provides metadata on each event. This is only partially completed.

I'm not sure where to go next. I started trying to collect scoping statements, but I found that these are quite diverse in form and content. The complete scoping statement is not always in the RFP, and it is often unclear just exactly what I should be grabbing to represent the scoping statement. Some RFPs have lists of ideas appended. Nevertheless, I think it is important for us to collect scoping statements in one place.

Can someone else look at this question? Do we have everything we need in the current supplement? Is there something else that, though perhaps not necessary, would be valuable to readers? If no, then close this issue.
