[Discussion] Should we collaborate?

TL;DR: Forked this repo, added web support, and plan to enhance it. Should we merge my changes with @Morsmalleo and collaborate?

Big thanks to @Morsmalleo for maintaining this project.

I've always liked Ahmyth-Android-RAT for its GUI, making payload creation and connecting to devices easier. Although I haven't really used it, I love the concept.

However, a few aspects bothered me about the current setup, especially the GUI being an electron desktop app requiring a desktop environment. I'd prefer a web-based control panel over the electron app. So initially, I just wanted to experiment and create a web based UI, but later, I decided to take it further and created a separate fork named "Ahmyth-Reborn" with a web-based control panel and other features.

What needs improvement:

• Web-based control panel for remote access, even from a mobile browser. This means you don't needs a DE and you can simply run everything from terminal on a server and access it remotely.
• Docker distribution for easy setup without worrying about dependencies. No need to worry about your distro, and the dependencies polluting your system. Just install docker and run. And once done simply remove the container.
• Android client rewrite for the supporting latest android versions.

What I have planned further:

• Socket implementation update for better proxy support and polling method support.
• Built-in support for tools like ngrok for users without a static IP.
• Remote update of the socket server URL in the APK. Maybe by keeping the actual url somewhere else like a GitHub Gist or pastebin.
• Audio and video streaming support. Currently we can only capture a image and record audio for predetermined amount of time.
• Random package name generation for enhanced antivirus evasion. Currently the smali files are added as-is with the same namespace
• Plus more ideas that slipped my mind.

Seeing @Morsmalleo actively maintaining and planning Android client updates, I want to avoid duplicating efforts.

@Morsmalleo, thoughts on collaborating? or should I keep my fork separate as "Ahmyth-Reborn" with web and Docker support?

I would love this implementation. Using a web browser so that a mobile device can track would be great, as I use this to track my teenagers.

Yeah, having web access is really handy.

We are still discussing about the collaboration so it'll be sometime before the web version can be merged to this repo.

But if you want, you can clone my repo and try it out, the server should be compatible with apks generated using existing electron app.

Are there any additional steps that need to be taken to install your version, or just follow the normal wiki. I can't seem to get npm to start on a debian server that doesn't have a video card.
