Only problems with Volume Down

Hello everyone

I am putting together a phonics box for my daughter:

Everything is ready, but I despair at the volume down button ... All buttons work, except this one ... Sometimes the button works, sometimes it doesn't. After a restart it works better than after a certain time.

All other buttons work without problems, except Volume Down.

Changed cable / changed button / changed PIN always the same behavior.

EditionClassic edition (barebones)

Does anyone else have an idea for me?

Hi, I would have suggested to switch pins, but you already tried that.
Can you provide your logs from the startup and after you pressed the button (and additionally when it is not working anymore)?

Thanks for your reply, sorry I'm only getting back to you now.

After changing everything 3 times, I have now ordered another button from a different manufacturer....

Lo and behold:
Now everything works as it should.

So if someone wants to rebuild the PhonieBox in the link, do not buy the buttons from Amazon, but others.....

I have thrown the replacement buttons from Amazon straight in the garbage can.
