There is no way to fix Edge Update ERROR: error An error occurred while checking for updates: 9 (error code 0).

Thank you for your feedback. However, this repository is specific to web platform explainers from the Edge team, not really for feedback/bugs about the browser.
Could you please send your feedback again by using the browser's feedback mechanism instead? Here's how:

  1. Click Settings and more (the ... button in the top-right corner of the browser).
  2. Click Help and feedback.
  3. Click Send feedback.
