  • This issue contains only one feature request.
  • The title of this issue accurately describes the feature request.

Feature description

It would be nice to support YouTube videos in addition to music from YouTube Music. It would really expand InnerTune's usability/functionality.

Why do you want this feature?

Besides music I also enjoy listening to podcasts, video essays, documentaries, etc. which unfortunately doesn't seem possible with InnerTune - which is my goto music/audio app, so would love for it to provide me even more use.

It already supports "Open Supported Link by default" for youtu.be, youtube.com, etc. and it also supports "Share > More > InnerTune" - so don't see why not.

Maybe podcasts, but I don't see why a music streaming app should support non-music related content. Why not just use Youtube and/or a podcast application for that?

You can already use Namida or NewPipe for that. Therefore, kinda pointless to try and add such features to an app that was never built on such premise.

I get the point of this, YTM sometimes doesn't recognize shorter songs on the platform as they are classified as Shorts for some reason, this is actually a good feature to add
