Emails not returning to inbox #2

I can't find anything in common with which emails this is happening to, but I have noticed some that are still marked with both the 'mailfred' and 'mailfred-scheduled' labels are not returning to the inbox at all.

What are some test cases I can run to find out more information for you?

Hi, sorry for replying late.

I assume you are using the latest version of Mailfred (v2.0.21) and these are not mails that have been scheduled with the old version!?

Do some mails come back and some don't? Have you selected "Only if there's no activity" in the Mailfred drop down? If so, the mails are probably not coming back because somebody answered before the scheduled date. Could that be the reason?

Hey Manuel,

All good.

  1. Yep, on version 2.0.21.
  2. I don't know what previous version the emails were scheduled with, but assume it would have been latest at the time (April 30th when I reported it).
  3. Yes, 'Only if there's no activity' was selected, but no one else has replied since.

The only thing in common I can find is that it seems to be email threads that have become complex - lots of email replies and/or attachments. Could this affect it?

If I email myself a single test email, I can schedule it over and over with no issues.

Anything else I can try?

I think I found one potential issue. If you have a draft email at the bottom of the scheduled email chain, it won't come back to your inbox .

Does this seem right?

It seems it occurs even without a draft email at the bottom of the scheduled email. I think that isn't the issue. Currently we are travelling but we'll look into it as soon as we can.
