This project is a fork of another open source project called Subsonic. Due to the wide range of external tools that are designed to interface and control Subsonic, Supersonic aims to be an API super set to achieve seamless interoperability with existing clients while providing additional features. Syncing of code to the "upstream" branch is done daily, while merges of this code into the Supersonic master branch is completed manually by project developers.
