Hi @LynnHaDo , I came across your project and found it fascinating! I’m particularly interested in exploring the training dataset you used. Would you be able to share it with me?

Thank you for your interest in the project. Regarding the dataset I have created, it is sadly owned by the company I used to intern for, so there are restrictions regarding ownership. However, I think it is easily re-creatable! You just need some images of checkboxes (available in several checkbox classification repositories on Github), which offer highly diverse checkboxes in different styles. In addition to that, there is a really helpful Medium article that provides images (though requires a bit of image preprocessing and trimming) where you can pull out individual checkboxes from.

Then, if you follow the steps I did in my data generation notebook and paste the checkboxes to documents, I am sure you can create some highly robust training data!

Hi @LynnHaDo, You was trained this on YOLOv8 and only one class in your model right ? I see the back bone part in yaml file what does this mean ? Did you make any configuration on the model architecture ? Can I pretrain your model on my data ?
