Discord discussion about the issue :

  • @vforgeoux-ledger (V) : Amounts like 0.00102 are now rounded to 0.002 for instance. Is it intended ? It wasn't the case with the previous Near app
  • @frol (F) : Yes, that was intended. NEAR uses yocto (10^-24) percision, so we had to pick some reasonable precision, and on Nano devices such precision looked the best to us.
  • V : The Ledger Live implementation still displays 0.00102 for instance. Don't you think it would be confusing for users to see a rounded up amount on their device ?
  • F : So you have 5 decimal points precision? I think we can change that fairly easy. What will Ledger Live show in case 0.001020001, 0.0010249999999999, and 0.0010250000001?
  • V : Hmm, @Hedi-Ledger do you know by any chance how we deal with decimals precision on Ledger Live, and particluarly on Near ?
