Search Strings Calibration bug

When i try and set a calibration point, my whole screen goes black. The instructions for "Right click drag" "Left click drag" ETC are still displayed on the left or right side of the screen but when i highlight the desired area, the screen is highlighted blue and then nothing. The screen goes back to normal, and i have no calibration image. Pleae help!

It's a compatibility issue that sometimes occurs on Win11 + vulkan. Switching to DX12 usually fixes that.
