Achievement integration?

Is there anyway to run this mod and still get Steam Achievements for Doom3 BFG?

Not at this time. Although id left the code for tracking achievements in place when they open sourced the game, the steam integration was removed. I'm not exactly sure what would be involved in restoring the steam integration, but it's not something I think I will be able to get to any time soon, sorry.
I did finally get the source for the mod online, so maybe we can find someone more familiar with steam to lend a hand.
