GitSync doesn't recognize repository from main branch

Expected Behavior

GitSync should recognize the main branch from repository.

Actual Behavior

GitSync doesn' recognize the main branch from repository on Windows and Linux.

Reproduction Steps

This is what i provide in the GitSync interface:

This is what happens after clicking the Clone button:

i see this in the console:

Facing the same issue using Insomnia 11.5.0, trying to clone an existing project with Git Sync does not work : After saying no files were found I'm also facing a 401 (using a Gitlab PAT)

I was able to bypass it by ticking "Connect the repository later"

Then simply connecting to it with the same credentials I was trying to use to create it.
