Integrating PostGIS server as a data source?

Second, I was simply wondering if someone came up with easy ways to read PostGIS data into the GeoStats framework and if so, if it could be added to GeoIO.

We don't have any tests with PostGIS yet. If you use it frequently, you already have a good motivation to becoming a contributor. Please feel free to reach us out in our Zulip channel to ask questions about the codebase.
