Hi everyone, after today's update I started work on making QuickAsk even better!
Now it's completely independent of the main Alpaca window.
What Does This Mean?
Before this change QuickAsk would always check with the main window for models and instances, that meant every time QuickAsk was being used the main Alpaca window would always be opened (though hidden sometimes)
What happens when you send a message in QuickAsk
Performance
When you run Alpaca in
normal modeit will prepare a instance of QuickAsk which doesn't include windows, the same goes if you launch Alpaca inQuickAsk mode, it will have a instance ready for when you press theSave to Alpacabutton. In simple terms this means they don't depend on each other to be rendered and working but prepares instances for when they are needed explicitly by the user.
How Could This Benefit a User?
A Fun Side-Effect of the Changes
Because of QuickAsk now calling it's own functions instead of relying in AlpacaWindow, QuickAsk can now have multiple windows generating different content at all times!
