"Apply search editor changes to Workspace" doesn't seem to apply any changes to a text file.

Is the extension working with the current version?
Is there something more I need to setup?

I'm seeing the exact same problem. The extension does nothing.
My environment was recently changed to Rails 6, maybe that has something to do with it.
