Hi @imchocomint Is it possible to just bootstrap the dotfiles but with separate installation script? So for a while now I am using the built-in I am planning to rework the whole installation process in the future as it is too specific and not flexible. What we can do in |

Greetings. I'm the maintainer of Hyprplus, a project to bring Hyprland and hypr* software to Debian native packages.
I've been using Hyprland on KDE neon (0.39), on Debian via APT (0.41) and currently running Hyprland latest git commit on Debian sid.
Debian 13 (trixie) detached from unstable branch a few days ago, thus restarting the package curation process for Debian sid (unstable) from Debian experimental. Some of these packages allows C++26 binaries to be compiled and run e.g. GCC 15, G++15, the updated libstdc++,... Hyprland requires systems that support C++26.
There is virtually no support for Hyprland on Debian at the moment. There is JaKoolIt install script and dotfiles, but that's for version 0.41. I also maintain a spinoff of that dotfiles, but never had time to create an install script for it.
So today I'm here to asking for official cooperation in porting all the install script to Debian. I have forked your repo ahd have been making progression on it (offline, not synced to GitHub yet). For now it's just me with my very limited bash skill and multiple AI agents. I need some people with proficiency in bash to rewrite the install script in bash while I take care on the dependencies not available in Debian sid repo.
Anyone who is interested in this can reply under this discussion. I'd contact you asap.
Thank you.
P/s: The siduction script seems to be dated. But it's kinda neat though.
