Coffea recently re-introduced a form of "virtual arrays" as its main backend due to the problems coming from using dask.
A new awkward-zipper package is being developed to replace nanoevents and make it easier for users to write their own schemas. What does that tell us about coffea? How should coffea evolve in the near future? What should coffea provide to the users as a library? What should the interface be?
