Calibrate screen #197
Comments
Technically, yes, but it I would strongly caution you against running it, as in my experience, it does nothing but create a whole new set of problems that will never go away. Was this unit self-assembled or purchased from me? What I've found is that very slight adjustments in the fit between the screen and the recess in the front plate where it sits usually resolves touch issues. It's not clear to me why, but if something is just a little too tight, you'll sometimes experience touch problems like you describe (touch in one place, it registers in another). Sometimes the issue can be resolved by backing off the 4 Phillips screws holding the assembly together by a half turn. If this was a purchased unit, I'll toss out the option of arranging a return/replace so let me know if that would be preferable to monkeying around with the fit. |
I built the display myself. I needed one for the European 55 frame. |

Hello,
is it possible to calibrate the touch screen?
When I press a softkey, the one below is always activated.
Thanks
Stephan
