QF - notify project owner when matching funds are distributed #1025
Comments
I think this is more complicated than the value add - adding to icebox |
@laurenluz @divine-comedian Do you need to send emails just like #1026 or need to send in-app notifications? |
Lauren can correct me if I'm wrong but we should just get the list, sending emails is done manually, filtered by the list - which can get by the tag. No in-app notifications. |
we are currently sending emails manually, as each one has been a custom thing. I think we can keep doing it this way, in which case as @divine-comedian said, we just need the emails. @oyealmond @koday1 can keep this in mind though... maybe in the future we may want to make some generic email copy that automatically goes out? or maybe we want to do this now? |
@RamRamez do you need anything else to implement this change? |
I think emails are sent manually and list can be fetched from Ortto, so maybe we can close this? |
@jainkrati This is in Icebox so please ignore it, I will un-assigned @RamRamez @laurenluz shall I assign it to @koday1 to amend the requirement to make this process better? |
sounds good @MoeNick |
This can be a stretch goal/nice to have:
When matching funds are sent - we should tell the project owners that were part of the QF round. Notification can say:
"Your project < project name > has just received matching funds from < QF round x >."
or if the QFround is going to be annoying to specify, we can be simple with:
""Your project < project name > has just received matching funds from a recent QF round."
