Problems navigating to comments from notifications

Clicking a notification in the list under the bell icon often fails to navigate to the post or comment. A wait spinner appears and the content never loads. Sometimes unrelated posts appear below the spinner, sometimes not. Failure seems more common when the post or comment is older than a day or two, or when the comment is deep in a long thread. When a comment does load in a long thread, the page sometimes scrolls to the wrong location, somewhere below the comment you were trying to navigate to.
