when using a template with custom_adapters (which should override naming scheme), gns3-web-ui doesn't display custom interface names but the port_name_format pattern only.

this has been spotted on release v2.2.44.

Just noticed that #1339 may be related. Should we merge these two feature requests ?

Since #1404 is focusing on the editing part, but I don't see anything on the interfaces display part (for the main screen).

It is indeed working (see picture below). Sorry, I may have had issues with my browser's cache while testing !
