Freeplay turntable glow is fixed but it’s static #4069
Comments
This isn't a bug with the game, but rather an issue with the DJ flas - the turntable has a lights layer with a sublayer of the bars which are animated (I think the idea was to have the main layer apply it's blur effect to the sublayer with the animation), but the lights layer is static for some reason despite that. |
Weird hopefully this gets fixed though or sorted because it looks off visually in game still |
It's still a visual issue so it counts. |
I noticed that the turntable lights look normal in this tweet by PhantomArcade: https://x.com/PhantomArcade3K/status/1876377249458327948 (Also posting the video here if you don't use Twitter): Yi9Uu5fEDwD517gy.mp4Makes me think that he went back and fixed them... perhaps it'll be fixed in a future update? |
Yeah I saw that. I think that’s just him manually viewing the animation files though especially because we don’t see the song names/icons. He said they had issues with it displaying properly in game which was said when they were having issue with blend modes. Could still be an after effect that needs cleanup No way to know until at least the next update or we get a confirmation of it being truly fixed |

Description (include any images, videos, errors, or crash logs)
The turntable in freeplay was fixed to be lit up but instead of functioning as you’d think it should, lighting up as the volume goes up , there’s just a static glow overlay which doesn’t look right. For example if it’s on a frame where there’s no volume it should be dark
Compare this to fps plus where it looks natural like this
Steps to Reproduce
Open the game and go to freeplay, watch as the volume goes up and down below the glow
