Affected app version

1.0.1

Affected Android/Custom ROM version

Android 14

Affected device model

OnePlus 8T

How did you install the app?

F-Droid / IzzyOnDroid

Steps to reproduce the bug

  1. Open the event list view

Expected behavior

The dates should stand out of the events in the event list view.
Dates could be placed on the left margin (as in Google Calendar) or they could use a bold font.

Actual behavior

I find that the dates do not stand out of the events in the event list view.
They use the same regular font and are placed the same way.

Do you mean the day or the time of an event? If you mean days, they are already standing out from events - they are written with a smaller font.

Yes, I mean the days.
IMO, using a smaller font is not enough.

If it were changed, I'd personally prefer something as I have in Outlook:
obraz

(the gray rectangle is ofc the censorship of event name and location, so I've added an artificial event to show how font looks like)

So, the date at the top, like it's now - and it's not really that much different from the current implementation, just formatted a bit differently. But the time of an event is moved to the side. I find it more usable than Google Calendar's event list, where tbh margins between days are too small, and it's easy to confuse events between neighboring days.

Yes, the Outlook layout looks good.
It is easier to distinguish between dates and events, and to see the time of event.

Another possibility would be to have events written in white on a coloured background.
Plus, dates could be more closely aligned to the left border.
This 2 things would allow to more easily distinguish between dates and events.
