Is Jackson 2.15.0 compatiable with Jetty 9.x ?

Hi team,
I got a problem when upgrade jackson from 2.14.3 to 2.15.0 with jetty version 9.4.51.v20230217 and java 17.
I am wondering if there is a compatiability issue for this combo.

What kind of compatibility problem? Jackson core components does not use Jetty (and JAX-RS providers only for testing).

Hi, I am still doing investigation over it. Wondering if Jetty 9 has been tested with 2.15.0?
Some other main dependencies on my side are
jetty 9.4.51.v20230217, java 17, asm/asm common/tree-7.3.1, guava-30.1,
jakarta.xml-2.3.3, spring-5.3.27, grpc-1.54.0
do you think any of them suspicious?

You may want to reach to Jetty developers, mailing lists -- we do not test against Jetty so I don't know why certain things might not work together.

But regardless of where you ask this, you do need to specify more about symptoms: what is not working, how (errors, stack traces). Without that information it is difficult to know what might be going on.

I have found, that usually (same problem in several projects) the reason is the mix of different Jackson modules with different versions.

Try to force all of them explicitly:

That, or if possible (esp. if using Maven, although should be possible with Gradle too) import jackson-bomparent pom to get full set of consistent versions -- this defines <managedDepency> set of versions to use, without adding actually dependency.
