Game doesn't open

Describe the bug

The game doesn't boot, when I press play, after about 8 seconds, it fails.

I have tried everything to get it to work, reinstalling and updating my graphics drivers did nothing, as did reinstalling NET and VC++.
I have also restarted my computer after every install of a new program/ driver.
I'm running Windows 11 Home, my relevant specs are as follows:
-intel i7 9700F 3GHz CPU
-4060 GPU
-16 GB Ram

I can open the editor, but loading a project does nothing,
I can, however, load into the game if I load the beta "2024-Oct", but the games within s&box freeze once loaded, if it loads at all.

The above guide did not work.

Someone on steam had a very similar issue, and seemed to have resolved it by reinstalling Windows, which, I would like to avoid doing.
My friend inexplicably has the exact same issue I have, despite our rather different computers.

1. Download game
2. Press Play

Expected behavior

The game should boot.

ah i see, "OpenXR: Failed to load xrGetVulkanInstanceExtensionsKHR"
but im not using VR, i didn't select to open it in VR

This is embarassing. I thought I did everything right, ensuring I had reinstalled my drivers and software. I unplugged my VR system, and despite it being off and not used, for whatever reason, it solved the issue, now I just have the issue of not being able to play VR on s&box, can I update the thread and change the issue?
