Install height

I'm 6'5" and my kiddos are 2 and 5. Currently I'm using the device on a 45 degree angle on top of the cabinet. I've got one zone at the kitchen sink which works great for me and my wife. I think the cabinet it's attached to is blocking the kiddos from the sensor when they're standing at the sink. I'm going to move and test it some more but it made me wonder if there is a recommended install height. Forgive my ignorance if this is documented, I didn't see anything on what I read. Any thoughts? I have one in my kitchen which is actually stuck upside down to the bottom of the cupboards. Its worked well so far, if you have the space on the underside of wall mounted cupboards it might be worth trying to mount it there. Works great for me as I have multiple plugs along the wall so using a shorter cable meant no cables on show.
