Describe the bug
The version in the AUR is not the latest, and it doesn't feature the update-command bug fix. I marked it as out of date in the AUR as well.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to AUR
  2. Find swaync-git
  3. Check version and find out it's not the latest commit
  4. It is the same version as the release (0.10.1 i believe)

Expected behavior
By installing the git package, to me, it seems that you should get the latest commit version.

Please provide logs if you're experiencing notification errors / bugs
Attach Gists for swaync logs by running G_MESSAGES_DEBUG=all swaync and (if applicable) application logs.

Screenshots
If applicable, add screenshots to help explain your problem.

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: [e.g. Fedora 37]
  • Version [e.g. 0.7]

Additional context
Add any other context about the problem here.

You should ignore the version reported for -git packages in the AUR. The version is just the version at the time the package was created.

However, -git packages always install the latest version so you should be able to just reinstall the package to update it.
