Event is send to Hook, even if I defined an action in the Controller - Can I disable that?

Hi all!

I did a basic setup like in the docs. A Controller blueprint for an IKEA 5-button remote wired to a Light Hook. So far so good.

Now I want to make the left / right buttons do a different action rather than change he light color. If I define actions in the controller for the buttons, they will still send an event to the hook automation and there does not seem to be a way in the controller to prevent this and no way to tell the hook to disregard a certain event.

Is this kind of automation out of scope for the controller / hook automations?
